SECOND, we require a deposit of $200.00 USD per person to buy your Machu Picchu entrance and train ticket. You can make the deposit by clicking the VISA or PAYPAL icons on our home page or on the booking page, or by using the payment method of your choice.
WHAT ABOUT THE BALANCE?
If you prefer to avoid high credit card fees in Peru, you may pay the balance in cash at our office in Cusco (US dollars or Peruvian soles). There are many ATMs in the historic center. Online payments by VISA or PAYPAL are accepted, but a 5.5% service fee charged by those providers will apply. To pay by PAYPAL, log into your PAYPAL account and send payment to our email address winayperuadventure@gmail.com.
MAY I CHANGE THE DEPARTURE DATE AFTER THE TICKETS HAVE BEEN BOUGHT?
Yes, but with restrictions. Once tickets are purchased, the government does not allow changes; tickets are not transferable nor refundable.If you cancel the Machu Picchu Tour Package, the deposit is not refundable.
DO I NEED MY ORIGINAL PASSPORT FOR THE TOUR?
Yes. You must bring your original passport, and the passport number must match the one you provided to buy your Machu Picchu permit and train ticket. Rangers will check passports when you Visit Machu Picchu, and the train company will check passports before boarding.
If you are renewing your passport or changing your name, send us your old passport information to buy the permit, and we can update the record later for a fee of $25 USD per person. We must have copies of both old and new passports to make this change. If you do not pay this fee, bring both passports to Peru; without both you will not be permitted to Visit Machu Picchu or board the train.
